The number of monthly subscribers still enjoying Blizzard's MMO phenomenon World of Warcraft has dropped to 7.7m.
It was last reported at 8m back in April, having dropped by 1.3m since February. The game's population has been gradually dropping since it peaked at 12m subscribers in October 2010.
This is the first time the time the subscription base has been lower than 8m since 2007, before the launch of first expansion The Burning Crusade, according to Eurogamer.
Of course, that's not to say all 300,000 have quit Azeroth altogether. WoW is one of many MMOs that has gone free-to-play in recent years.
Activision Blizzard recently announced plans to bring microtransactions to the game in the hopes of opening up new revenue streams.
