As you'll know if you've ever been to New Zealand, where it's bigger than, you know, consequential sporting events, the America's Cup is one of sailing's biggest deals - and that's why it's bolted onto the front of "32nd America's Cup - The Game" - aka "Virtual Skipper 5".

Those curious as to the effect its introduction has had can now tuck into a 283MB PC demo, which allows single players to get used to the primary steerages as well as some of the race rules, and then try and win two playable regattas "on a sea surging with realism and intense competition".

The demo's available from WorthPlaying, FileFront and others, while the game is due out here on 11th May.
