This is my, or our, idea....

Do you remember the hit game Metal Slug? The game that smashed into arcades, and home consoles across nations?

It's true, it was a great game, and sadly it seams forgotten...

AVAST! I have an idea, that will only work with help and support, and will only not work without it

as the gaming peoples of the Americas, all of Europe and Asia and all surrounding countries including AUstralia we can MAKE THINGS HAPPEN!

My idea is the ultimate game!

But alas, you CANNOT make the ULTIMATE GAME IT IS IMPOSSIBLE!!!

this is completely true!

But that is why i mean to say we can make the ULTIMATE GAMES!!!!

what are games? Entertainment!!

SO why can we not entertain ourselves?

I propose we STRIVE to make the best games!

I have tons of ideas, we all do, so why can't we take these ideas to game companies like Insomniac and Neo Geo, and Sony, and Valve?

Usually because of disrespect/personal pride/ or they are nice and just don't have TIME to deal with all of our Criticism and objections!

WELL WE are the gamers, NOT them!

so why don't we UNITE?????!?!

usually because of personal price/ or... oh.. deja vu...

anyways, what i first propose is a program be constructed filtering out all of our suggestions..

such as the numerous problems with counter-strike, lets make a poll/suggestion type forum/chatroom, where the most popular poll (in the thousands) gets first place, and people can go to a huge list of polls and vote on things other PEOPLE create...

such as "lower the damage of ____ gun" or "change the appearence of the knife" or "change this map" or "make everyone have lightsabers"

that is the FIRST step is CREATING this DREAM program...

and to do so, EVERY GAMER WILL HAVE TO UNITE... or... atleast... afew programmers...

THEN WE WILL NEED PERMISSIONS!!!

perhaps we can use Xfire?

We won't be able to distribute this program on our own! not to mention copyrights!

now... what the hell does this have to do with the ultimate game?

well... i have several ideas for very good games!

Such as remaking Zelda- Ocarina of time- with the farming and replayability of Harvest Moon, and the loveliness that is Zelda- Ocarina of time- with multiplayer!

Or perhaps Metal Slug- THe MMORPG! A MASSIVE 2D map stretching all throughout all 7 games, all environments and MORE NEW ENVIRONMENTS with thousands of weapons and upgrades... people will be dropped in the middle of this giant 2D MMORPG with a pistol... as whichever team they choose... FREE to do WHATEVER THEY WANT!!

THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE!!!

but what the hell does this have to do with my dumb "DREAM PROGRAM"

EVERYTHING!!

this program will not only help game designers design and change new, old, and future games...

but PERHAPS, if we UNITE, we can get companies to make NEW games, and REMAKE our FAVOURITE classics such as Zelda, and Metal Slug, etc.

please hear me out (and maybe post this on the news section)

so what you want to make is something like rpgmaker but better...

also the game "ideas" you have are games that have been made, and you want to edit them.

Personaly I find this idea extremely cool, but at the same time extremely far-fetched

Amazing games, but only such if amazing coders like Zion, Strmnrmn, ZX81, Xioder(sry misspell) Dark_Alex and others were to come to terms and team up, but, sadly, they don't like making games from scratch except Zion and Xio, it takes an a great team. The Zelda Multiplayer game sounds awesome, but alas....
