Star Wars continued to dominate the top of the UK software charts once again this week, with Lucasarts' Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith taking the top spot for a third week running as the movie launched in the UK.

A second Star Wars title, the Traveller's Tales developed Lego Star Wars, holds firm at number four, just behind Eidos' Championship Manager 5 - which swaps places with Microsoft's Forza Motorsport to go from last week's number three to this week's number two.

The highest ranked new entry this week - and in fact the only new entry in the top 40 - is Eidos' Imperial Glory, from Commandos developer Pyro Studios, which comes in at number 13 in the chart.

Elsewhere, the chart is largely stagnant - although a few titles do climb up the ranking fairly significantly, such as the Platinum release of Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer 4, up four places to number 11, Nintendo's Super Mario 64 DS, up five places to number 15, and Blizzard's World of Warcraft, up nine places to number 20.

The industry seems to be entering its traditional summer lull a bit earlier than usual this year - or perhaps everyone is just too busy recovering from E3 to actually launch many games. Either way, this Friday is a quiet one at retail, with the most notable titles on the shelves being THQ's WWE WrestleMania XXI on Xbox and the PS2 and Xbox versions of indie cult hit Alien Hominid, which is being published by Zoo Digital.
