Default Star System v0.1 Fenix Test Release

This is only for those who have CDs to waste, the zip file contains plain and a Discjuggler image.

I can give no assurances that they work so consider these releases as pure betas, that said if you get them working please post any news about the release with any instructions so that i can post news that they do indeed work.

(im totally out of CDs for a bit so thats why these are test releases and not to be posted on any site until we know they work)

    Heres the Link

    http://www.dcemu.co.uk/fenix/Starsys.zip

It is a classical shooting game simulating 1975 style. So don't expect modern graphics or gameplay

Well, the graphics are a bit better than 1975 (I own a few 70s black & white arcade machines), but they are hand-drawn by someone who isn't much of an artist, and they are kinda primitive. but hey, if the game is fun, so what?

That said, this is a Kaboom/Avalanche- type game, where the player has to catch objects as they hurdle towards him. Notice that i didn't say "fall". This is because, as the game progresses, the player will have to catch items as they move from top to bottom, bottom to top, right to left, and left to right.

D pad moves the paddle, pressing A "warps" the paddle to the left, pressing B "warps" the paddle to the right. Left and right are relative to the player's position, as the viewpoint changes each level as I mentioned above. X resets the unit.

This game works perfect, although the bottom is cut off just a tad. Kinda fun, but only four levels, then it starts over.
