psp First release of PeeJay MIDP - Java Gaming on PSP

    via pimpware

Playing graphic java mobile games on your PSP, now you can! (atleast you can play SNAKE )

This first release loads and plays the demo java jad packages of the SUN j2me.

    how to use
Direction pad is mapped to 2, 4, 6, 8 numeric. Right and Left Triggers are for the “java mobile game” right and left menu buttons. Cross is mapped to the enter/select key.

how to add mobile java games
download the java j2me devkit. Install a game on the emulator using http, then copy the appdb directory contents to /PSP/MIDLET/appdb on your PSP. Soon there will be a networked install on PeeJay!

This is a first, many of the native functions still to be implemented.

    "FATAL EXCEPTION"

I'll keep looking, there must be one out there.

By the way, will this emulator play Java games off the memory stick or does it stream them from elsewhere?. I'm a little confused here and the information given upon release doesn't help too much.
