Ive never heard of this problem before...

Keep air running through your PS3 or maybe consider buying a USB fan.

Hmmm, im not sure to be honest.

To me it sounds like a system fault.

Maybe call a Sony help line?

How long does your console have to be on before this happens?

Also, does it do the same while running through scart?

Is your ps3 directly under your screen? It may be the screen which cant stand the heat...

    hmmmm, sounds strange

Just how close is the ps3 to the other equipment, because of the heat dissepation with the ps3, it is best for it to be as far away from anything else if at all possible, i have noticed myself sometimes, that when i plac e my and towards where the heat escapes from teh ps3, it is actually very warm indeed, so i have nothing else sat near to it at all, and have not had any problems at all.

So check your system setup, and see if there are any changes that you can make to resolve the errors that you are having, good luck with it. :-D
