    Default Whats INITLOCATION???

    Hi i was setting up my gps config file and what is INITLOCATION and what setting works best on it?? and should i have the debug log on?? And what is the best turn speed to go at, its set at 2 right now.

    I also want to know what is INITLOCATION.
    I made a search, and I found that people use different values for INITLOCATION (like 8) even it's limited to values 0-1-2
    I couldn't get it.

    and the description is not very helpful for me
    INITLOCATION (0, 1 or 2): use cold, warm or hot boot for PSP-290 GPS receiver

    I also have PSP-290.

    I know the description is a bit vague, but there isn't too much to it actually.

    I think (not sure) cold boot means it won't take any old data into account when acquiring GPS signal (like previous location), warm boot some, hot boot even more .

    In practice you can just ignore it, I've never found any difference in getting a fix.
