Talking Mapthis! v4.99 on 3.40 oe-a How I did it

Ok newbs ( it's ok I am one too!) this is how I did it.

    3.40 oe-a
    psp-290
    Kernel set to 3.40

    Directory tree as follows
    psp/game340/mapviewer
Drop the "Mapviewer" folder into game340 folder
    the mapviewer folder should contain
    MAPS ( folder)
    System ( folder )
    SRC (folder)
    eboot.php ( 966kb)FILE
usbacc ( windows media profile )
usbgps ( windows media profile )

Download your "_THE MAP YOU MADE " from the gmdl tool to the map folder

Set the cpu speed " press start while in MAPTHIS!"
    to 222khz
then press the square key on the psp pad
and wait it WILL lock up!
    I hope this helps..

Default Map crash and psp-290 fail, possible solutions

    OK
    MAP CRASH
More than likely your map is to friggin big. Try lowering the zoom level. Only so much the psp will store data wise in flash mem. It worked for me.
    PSP-290 FAIL
First use the psp-290 gps test program to see it your gps antenna is working. ( available on this site, I advise you to find vs. me linking to it beacuse there is some really good reading on the way) If it is NOT working still
Make sure your usb port is CLEAN
    Make sure you have the
    usbacc.prx
    usbgps.prx
    in the psp/Game340/mapviewer/ folder

it is essential for this to be this way. these are the usb drivers for the psp-290

Check my first post to insure you have the directory tree correct.

Mine wasnt working and now is..after the changes I made to the directory tree, dont worry you'll get it!!
