    Default Manually Kick the Jig?

Hi, I'm not sure this is in the right forum but anyway. I read about that whole jigkick thing and I was wondering, rather than rely on the special battery, cant you open the psp and manually connect the wires or just put the psp on an AC cord and hit the right spot with a small hammer or something? Or is there something I'm missing, If there is I'm terribly sorry, I'm not an expert in these things, just wondering as my friend has a bricked psp.

You must have the battery and the files.
    (Files are leaked on net)

No one has the battery though.

But I heard that the battery just delivers a "kick" to a certain location connecting two wires and allowing the mem stick to write to the flash or something like that. So why not be able to do it manually?

No one knows exactly how it works.
