    psp PvP's Light-Sensitive LED mod

Another cool mod for the PSP from PVP

PvP here again! this next mod is extremely useful and very practical. i was with my friend outside and he had a modded psp with a see thru case with LEDs. now it was fricken bright out and he had his turned on and u seriously couldnt see the LEDs worth . if u cant see your LEDs whats the point of having them turned on all the time and waste batteries. now ive seen people install switches to turn on and off the LEDs but what if u could do it automatically and for about the same price as one of those switches?

    Full details here

Lol, this guy got banned from Acidmods! Check the above link for the cool picture. I thought this guy smelled kinda douchey. I'm just surprised he didn't write 5 paragraphs about how this was his idea and if anyone wanted to use it they would have to officially call it the PVP Douche Mod.

Here's what the Admin said on the site:

Member is banned for Tipping QJ.Net claiming to have completed the mod offering no proof other then linking to this thread. If modding was that easy we would all just write elaborite concepts and then tip the media claiming to have done the mod. Things like this will give AcidMods a bad name. If you wanna start your own site based on wishes and dreams then do it. But AcidMods only produces Real Mods with POC videos and data to back up our claimes..

Im sure everyone on this site can send QJ.net and idea and get it posted.

Maybe I should tip QJ.net about this

(missing the picture of the PSP with toast coming out of the UMD slot)

Thank God for that. I know they have been saying on AcidMods that it's nice to have have more hands-on people in the scene ready to try new stuff, but this guy ...

Lots of crazy ideas, no actual ability to put them into practice except using hot glue and other people's instructions. Yeah, lets just wire up a 110v AC light sensor into the PSP's circuitry - it'll work, right?

It will work but your going to have to cut and rewire your charging cable to a 210v dryer outlet =p

Just to top it off, wouldn't the same amount of energy be used as with the LEDs on, as it is instead expended on the resistor (Assuming it's as simple as an LDR)?
