    Default non MS game server?

    so i wasn't too bothered when i got banned, but now it is starting to irritate me.
    is there any other non-MS game servers or something that i can reconfigure my 360 to play on?
    i know this is probably a silly question but i remember chat before about a HALO2 server somewhere.
