on the xmb, go to system settings. go to restore system defaults.
then it should reset the psp and then enter all the settings again. and then go to recovery menu and now you should be able to go into the configuration menu in recovery

i did that, and now (O) became my main accept button rather than (X). How can I change this back to (X) being the main button?

EDIT: ahh and now it looks like I cant connect to my wireless network anymore...

Go to the recovery menu and go to registry hacks and then go to Button Assign and it should switch it back to X.
