Default troubleshoot gmdl satellite view DL

    Hi all,
First sorry for my poor english.
I have trouble with satellite or hybrid DL with gmdl 0.4.18a.
In fact, sometime i can DL part of a map sometime not
gmdl says me to upgrade my connection (not always). It seems like google map limit these download.
No problems with classic road view.
    have an idea ?
    thanks a lot

I think that google have a quota on how many hybrid map tiles it can give out per session..
So for large maps you probably want to redownload it the next day - gmdl has some recover options to be able to check for missing tiles...

i use MS virtual earth for getting my hybrid maps, and have had no issues with map size limitations/not downloading tiles etc.

perhaps try getting the maps you like under VE? or try deniska's approach for getting hybrid maps under google maps.

Does anyone have any idea what was meant by the recover function mentioned?

Im curious as Im having alot of trouble getting a solid sattelite view map which does NOT have missing tiles here and there.

    Cheers,
