gpSP 0.9 for the PSP (help a clueless noob)

I need help with putting in cheats for my gpSP. Can someone explain to me what in god's name to do Step by step?

It's pretty much all in the readme. You create a .txt file and enter whether its for gameshark or PAR and whrite either gameshark_v3 or PAR_v3 for it. then put a space in and name the code. on a NEW LINE copy and paste the code and make sure it looks right. then leave an empty line between that last line of code and the start of the next one, then repeat the process over. when you are done, rename the .txt file the EXACT same name of the rom you are using and where it says the file type to sava as, change it to "all files" and put ".cht" at the end of the file name. hope that helps, i could never get the codes to work for me though, but thats how you are supposed to put them in.
