You're not on firmware 3.52 that's why you don't see it. Since you're on firmware 3.40, leave the kernal 3.40.

ok im totally new to this whole psp modding thing...soooo what's a kernel and how do i change it?...annnndddd how do i make a game3xx folder and where do i put it?...please helpp!!...thanks in advance!

What firmware are you on? and to change kernel, you need to hold R and turn your PSP and it'll take you to the recovery menu. Choose configuration and look for the Kernel option.

i have 3.52 and did you say to hold down R and turn the psp ON?...because i did that and it just turned on normally.

yeah i download it on the psp where it says update....do i have to do that lumines thing to like make it homebrewed or w/e? sorry im like totally new to this....=/

You can't do the Lumines thing, because it's only for firmwares 3.50 and down. There's no way at the moment for you to run this or any other homebrew. Wait for a downgrader, which may be released in the future sometime, or for SONY to implement official homebrew support (or YouTube support, for that matter).

Anyway, fantastic application. I will definitely use this a lot, and regularly check for updates on it.
