Its a 'test' that really didn't need to be released.
A quick port of an immature DS emulator for the PC.
No games are playable, and it will never be optimized enough to be anywhere near full speed even if the person who did the port wanted to keep developing it.
Don't get your hopes of DS emulation on the PSP up, its not going to happen in a meaningful way.
The games will never be playable. Yes, maybe you will be able to get into the game, but there is no way you'll ever be able to play them as if you're on a DS, as the framerate will be too low. Just because a game can be loaded without crashing does not mean it will be able to be playable.
The N64 is around 5-6 years older than the DS, therefore it is much more likely to have a place in the 'working emulators for the PSP'. The hardware in the PSP is much more advanced then that of the Nintendo 64's. Now, it doesn't take a genius (it may in your case) to work out that the N64 is capable of being emulated on the PSP.
The buttons can be emulated easily, as shown in the release thread, but the touch screen is a different thing all together. You'd have to map the bottom half of the PSP screen (while tilted on it's side), and emulate it with an implemented mouse pointer. Is it possible? Yes. But not at all user friendly. The framerate of this emulator is appalling, and always will be.
Uhm, Exophase has said so much (that its not going to happen) himself.
If you feel you know more about the PSP/DS hardware and what it takes to emulate one on the other than he does then there is little any of us can say to dissuade you.
Also, this emulator could not be optimized to the point of being useful, it would be a full re-write.
No need to call others stupid just because you feel you know more than them.
It's a shame that he posted that picture, otherwise I might just have a bit of respect for you. That picture just reflects your own stupidity.
