Okay, your motherboard seems to have a PCI-Express slot, so almost every recent graphics card will work with it. Just make sure NOT to buy a AGP-card...

As I don't know how much money you want to spend I don't know what to advise. I for one would go for a Nvidia graphics card (one of the 8000-series). I don't know why, but I've never trusted AMD/ATI...

I don't recommend getting a nvidia. Get a ATI. Nvidia cards are not very compatable with linux where as ATIs are.

Really, you get what you pay for with GFX cards. If you only use Windows its totally your choice. They are all the same. Pay more, get more.

Nvidia is generally cheaper and more stable I find, the card just depends on how much you want to spend.

Sli is when you have two of the same graphics cards going at the same time. You need two PCI express slots to do it.

o.0 thats moreso the exact opposite.... ATI has horrible drivers and Nvidia has better ones... I've used both and Nvidia was alot easier to install.

Anyway I have a eVGA 7300 GS that I got from here

I'm not sure whether to trust the websites specs or the box's specs... because the box's specs are higher, on the box it says it has a 256-bit memory interface, but on the site it says its only 64...same thing with the RAMDACs... website says 1 clocked at 400Mhz, box says Dual RAMDACs at 400Mhz...

Core clock is 550Mhz, which is the highest I could find in my price range for Nvidia

Oh well, I'm just rambling, most games run fine on a medium or high settings, given the resolution is at 1024x768 with FSAA and that other one off.... most FPS problems I've had are due to my lack of RAM (Only 512MB ) and I can safely say shadows affect performance big time on this card.... or maybe it was because of said RAM issue.. I was using F.E.A.R to test... 1 sec and ill try to get some test results here for you...
