does anyone have the whole us map? if so how much room does it take up. if no one has it, whats a guess on the size?

map size depends on zoom range... you can have the whole planet on 32 mb memory stick, but would not be able to zoom in close.
gmdl gives rough map size estimates on preview popup screens...

If that doesn't work, try to use all lowercase (ie. _losangeles). That worked for me along with Deniska's method.

well do you think it possible to fit the whole us map with street view zoom on a 4gb card. i am willing to buy another for this great app.

I made directions with a new version of gmdl, but the message numbers were added to the end of POIs as single digit numbers like 1,2, or 9....Do I have to change those numbers every time with three digit numbers by myself?

Tried suggestions on posst 23, and made the directory all lower case with no spaces and nothing. I still have to select the map.

I was just wondering about something. what is this :"load wifi Module"??
what does it do
how do I use it, can somebody give me an example on how can I download the map using wifi????
