POI issue!

more like a question. IS it possible to make an alert for when you get within a certain amount of yards of a speed camera POI? and also for it to warn you of the speed, like it says after each of my POI's the speed limit for the camera.

It should be possible to get a "heads up" a couple of yards before a POI by setting up a waypoint!?

Config.txt has a field called:

As for the speedlimits just ease off the pedal

ooooooooh i thought that ment waypoints for routes or something? :| cool, thx for that :P but still it would be awsome if It could somehow alert you of the camera using the 50.737330,-1.882680,GATSO:1757@30,, <- 30 part here and flashing it on screen or even TTS'ing it!!

I wont swear on it but i think you can set up your own waypoints

VOICE PROMPTS / ALERTS EXPLANATION

Starting with MapThis! 0.5 it is possible to assign sound alerts to any POI or waypoint.
For instance, if you have a speed trap POI list for your area and you'd like to have a
sound alert when approaching a speed trap you'll need to do following:
1) Save your alert sound as 128bps/44Khz mp3 file as system/messageXXX.mp3 where XXX is any 3 digit number.
2) Edit your speed trap POI file to add that message number to the end of every poi definition line

40.666901,-73.988001,SPEED TRAP,TROOPER,XXX,

Oh excellent that clears that up then, not sure why i was so fussed about these features cause I won't get my psp-290 till friday =P just wan't it all set-up nicely, ill test this now, not 100% sure on the formatting since theres comma's everywhere, ill get it eventually =P cheerz

Edit: edited all 4000 camera's or so and it works like a dream =) (using Word replace ofc =P)

Hi Deniska,sorry for my bad understud but i have problems with the input.My wish are play the sounds turn left or other.I see your readme but i can´t understand in wich line are write the right word or the 3 digit number.


for example: add new poi--->see on screen
