Ashes Cricket 2013, a video game deemed "not fit for purpose" by angry customers, has been pulled from Steam. The long-delayed cricket sim (at one point it was due out in June), created by Australian developer Trickstar Games, launched with little fanfare on 21st November and was quickly slammed for being, frankly, terrible. One customer, "Mr Arthur Spiggott", demanded his money back."This game is so bad its unplayable," he wrote on the Steam forum, "so not fit for purpose, we should be entitled to our money back."I have now ask Steam support for my money back so just waiting for the reply."On Metacritic it has a 0.2 User Score. According to "MattW", Ashes Cricket 2013 is an "absolutely terrible game" with "clear bugs that just could not have been missed".Customers have complained about a lack of difficulty settings, a lack of online play and performance issues. The controls are also singled out for criticism. Now, the game has been pulled from Steam. Publisher 505 Games is expected to issue a statement later today.PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii U versions were in the works, but do not have release dates. Have they failed first-party certification? Will they ever be released?
