Uninstalling Devhook

Maybe a stupid question but I can't seem to find a solid answer. I've been running devhook for a while now, I only really use my PSP when I'm travelling. However, I'd like to get it back to plain jane FW so I can either upgrade to official FW or M33's 3.52.

So the question is is there a safe and proper way to uninstall devhook? And can you go from 1.5 to M33 3.52 or do you need a custom firmware in between?
