Corrupted Data

Please help - just purchased a PSP and have downloadad a game from torrents, loaded it on to the games folder on my PSP. When I open it, a message appears - "Corrupted Data".
Can you tell me please if there is any software I can use to unlock the game so I can play it? I am new to this, so I would be grateful if you could explain as simply as possible.
