    Default PSP290TEST works perfect..but?Please Help it's more than 3 months I'm trying ...

Tried PSP290TEST with prxs decrypted from my SONY 3.52 firmware and it works perfectly!
It finds up to 7 satellites and fixes on 4-5 in less than one minute!great

...Why the hell Mapthis find 1-2 sats and isn't able to fix on none of them?

    My system is WhitePSP TA79/81
    PSP290
    2 Sandisk RED 4gb

Mapthis and PSP290TEST both run on GAME352 folder.
Inside Mapthis I can switch correctly in GPS mode. (1-2 sats with no fix in gps-test)

    tried:

    3.30fw+Mapthis 4.61s_beta
    3.40fw+Mapthis 4.61s_beta & Mapthis 5.0
    3.52fw+Mapthis 4.61s_beta & Mapthis 5.0/5.01

    Tried to lower cpu
Tried the keycleaner and it reports it's all ok
    WIFI switch is off

I don't think it is a matter of prx files since the test runs perfectly.

psp290test is a farelly simple one-threaded program, which does not take alot of resourses while mapThis is pretty heavy on IO/cpu cyclses etc..
Although they both use the same routines to get gps data, mapThis probably generates more EM interference than the test proggy..

See my tricks&tips thread.. if nothing else helps - get extension cable...

    Is there a UMD inserted?
Put it out and try again.
