We're expecting the Call of Duty 4 PC demo to deploy either today or Friday, but while we sit around waiting, we're eyeballing screenshots from the demo that have landed in our in-box.

They're uploaded here [at CVG], naturally, so check them out.

In addition to the shots, info on the recommended and minimum specs for the demo has been unveiled.

Recommended Specs
  • <LI class=article_body>CPU: 2.4 GHz dual core or better is recommended<LI class=article_body>RAM: 1GB for XP; 2GB for Vista is recommended<LI class=article_body>Harddrive: 8GB of free hard drive space
  • Video card: 3.0 Shader Support recommended. Nvidia Geforce 7800 or better or ATI Radeon X1800 or better

CoD 4 is one of the big shooters releasing in the latter part of the year and we have no doubt it'll hold its own as it faces off against competitors. In fact, OXM in the US has already reviewed the game say forums, scoring it a mighty 10 out of 10.
