Tony Hawks for me. It's such a playable game. Even pootling around just doing tricks is absorbing and the two player mode is great fun.

I've not played Elemental Gimmick Gear either so my vote's kind of one sided anyway. It looks pretty nice though - I love the cartoon look. Is it a full on 2D game?

THPS 2 is the game that got me into the franchise and was the most played PSX game i had, i bought the DC version the other day just to see if there was much of a graphical improvement and was wondering what is wrong with the sound? it cuts out or goes really quiet or the music slows down, really ruins the game.

I've been playing around with EGG a little bit recently. I had never heard of it until it was thrown in with some other stuff I bought for the DC. It's a pretty cool little game.

I've never been much of a fan of the THPS franchise, basically because I suck at it.

So, my vote goes to EGG.
