Default Feature Request: Resize of "Midpoint" bar

    Hi all,

I tested a lot MapThis! this weekend, in particular
in combination with the "directions" feature of GMDL.
Very useful if you do not know the streets..
    I loaded them as POI.
A feature of the "directions" from GMDL
is the incredible number of "Midpoints" it sets.
For example, for a 30 km path it can set even hundred of midpoints. Up to here, everything fine.
The problem is that the Midpoint bar on the bottom of the screen hides *very* useful information such as:
    - Distance To Mark
    - Time
    - signal strength
    - battery

In practise, I noticed I had these info available on the screen only few times over all the trip.
Moreover the "Midpoint" bar is oversized because
it tells you something like "0.5 km Midpoint" but
it uses all the bottom horizontal size of the screen.

Do you think it is difficult to resize it? I.e. show
the "midpoint" bar without hiding the interesting info? Eventually can someone with mapthis code experience point me to the code section where this is handled?

    Cheers,

    Alberto

    Configuration:

    MapThis! 0.51
    PSP fat 3.52 M33-4
    Holux M1000

I've changed MapThis so it never shows midpoints at all anymore (just as if there was no point there). See http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/sho...09&page=37#368.

Great addition Nieko! I'll try your Modified MapThis! very soon...

    Thanks for pointing it out...

    Alberto

BTW, I noticed that your EBOOT in the link
is compiled for PSP-290. I've the Holux, therefore generic.
Should I recompile it for generic? Anyone has already done it?

    thanks,

    Alberto

I think someone did in the development thread, but you can also try yourself of course . Note: I couldn't get it to work.
