    Default Selfbooting divx movies?

I would like to know if it is possible to somehow make a Divx movie selfbooting instead of having to first insert the DC divx program disc and then swapping it with the Divx movie disc?

    Thanks in advance.

Well, first of all, you don't need to put the DivX movie on a separate disc from the DCDivX program - you can put them both on the same disc.

Secondly, about the only way I know of to make a DivX movie selfbooting is to use DreamInducer, and to make the DivX movie your loading image. Unfortunately, though, the DivX player that's built into DreamInducer is extremely buggy, and usually freezes up after playing only a few minutes of video (if that much).

You can selfboot DCDivX, but can you really selfboot a movie?

Thanks for the information. I'm still a bit confused though, I'm having trouble with:

Step9: Download the DcDivX4Dummies Selfboot Kit.
Put your Dc-DivX encoded videos in the kit's Dcdivx folder.
Click on either makedj or makenero.bat. It will create a .cdi or .nrg image after a few minutes.
Burn the created image with Nero or DiscJuggler.

Alright, I unzipped everything into a folder named "Dcdivxkit". I then put my encoded videos into the same folder and click on makedj.bat. I see a DOS command window which closes instantly and nothing happens. I must be missing something obvious.

Also, is it possible to put UDC Divx and your movies on the same disc? (I prefer UDC Divx to DC Divx)

    Thanks again.
