Help me get into coding for PSP

I've been wanting to get into this so I can contribute to the scene instead of leeching from it. Alright I have little training in hacking or writing code. The best i've got is a little involvment on Simon Wai's Sonic 2 Beta site.


I'd like to know:

Where to start?
Any books or pdfs to teach me?
emulators and how they are made?
C++ and hex editing?
porting and the like?

stuff in this category. I'd like to start work on my own homebrew and emulators for PSP. Any Experienced coders want to help a newb out?

- PSP Toolchain
- Cygwin

And then, learn by yourself through example and source code.
