well i changed my post. At firs i thought my holux worked, cause in GPS info appears Status=on but doesn´t work. I deleted the 2 prx files and my psp290 works but not the holux. More info you can take a look to my previous edited post. I Think there is something wrong between this version and firmware 3.71 m33-3. Where must be mapthis 0.5.2 installed in GAME, GAME150 or GAME3.71 depending on installing psp290 or holux gps? And with the menu recovery-configuration-kernel set in 1.50 or 3.71? mapthis 0.5.2 need prx files for working with psp290?

    Default Perfect

    Hi,
first tests are running well with my PSP Phat under CFW3.52#4-M33 and Holux M1000.
Installed in GAME352, GAME is set to FW1.50.
The new Audio feature is great !

    Let's test more.

    Great Release

First off it has been a while since I posted last as I have been out of the psp gps scene for a while. I notice this states generic gps support, does this mean that mapthis will now work with any serial based gps connector? or is it still limited to just the holux or the psp gps adaptor? I sold my psp gps and I now have a usb gps antenna for my laptop, and was wondering if it would be possible to use this with mapthis.

generic simply means not made by sony.
This mostly applies to holux models, although some other receivers work too.. you still need the "special" serial cable though

    try to disable any plugins..
you don't need any usb*.prx files

Not to bump in my own interest or anything, but has anyone had the problem mentioned last in my post (up two?)

If I start mapthis with GPS plugged in, I'm golden. Everything works.
If I plug in after loading (to re-route the sound to the speakers) I get no GPS info.

    Which PSP?

I think it works only with slim PSP.

it happens to me too.. i think its because mapthis only tries to detect for a GPS device at start and not when its already running? i donno just a wild guess gotta look at the code again. mayb Deniska can tell us?
