Forum Sack the England Football Manager

Ive just watched the worst england football game of recent years we fell to 2 soft goals then we managed to get equal with 1 soft penalty and 1 superb goal but later fell to another goal. Time to get rid of McClaren, Make Shearer the manager.

DIGG THIS - We Need to get rid

I totally agree, McClaren should be gone by the time he leaves the stadium - Jose Morineo or Shearer !!

The only 2 people who should not be blamed are Peter Crouch and Scott Carson. Crouch had an impossible game first half with balss flying in and no-one helping. ANd it was a mistake to bring Carson in on such a big game - made a few mistakes but who wouldn't?

Beckham will now retire, and something needs to be done about the Gerrard - lampard pairing - they cannot play together.

just out of interest - how many times did lampard touch the ball? I hardly heard his name mentioned.

    Just my thoughts anyway

How could they have lost?!?! Isn't David Beckham supposed to be the incarnation of Football Jesus that heals all teams he touches? Look at the wonders he did for the LA Galaxy!

    Oh... wait....

I'm not a big fan of football, but I hate the British mentality of "Sack the person in charge for the failings of the whole team", because they'd rather get rid of the person above than their idols.

It's not just the managers fault, it is the whole team's fault. Utterly shameful I agree, but you can't pen all the blame on him.

    Shameful match, terrible.
Most of the players played complete crap.
Oh, and McClaren has been sacked. Also Assistant coach Terry Venables has bitten the dust.

Never play american football on the same pitch before another match, that totally chewed up the pitch.

I agree that most of the time its the players fault not the managers. But this is not one of those times. The players are good enough to play the best in the world - its just the manager just coundn't motivate them.

    8:30 - meeting is called
10:00 - McClaren and Vennibles have gone

    lol!
