Arrow A way to transfer computer audio directly to microphone, live?

    Hello.

I was wondering if anyone knows of a way, preferrably software, to make the audio I play on the computer go directly to the microphone, without having to go through a speaker first.

So what I mean is, if I for example play an MP3 using a media player on my computer, can I make, for instance, Sound Recorder catch up that sound directly?

I don't want something that saves this audio straight to an audio file. What I want is for the audio to be sent straight to the microphone. Like, if I play an audio file or text-to-speech sound, that would be sent live to a person I'm having an audio conversation with on Skype or MSN.

Messy question, but I hope you understand, and that someone has an answer. It should be possible. Thanks.

Take a standard speaker cable, plug it into your speaker jack, then plug the other end into your mic jack. voila!

The only problem is that usually the mic is mono, so you'll have to adjust for that in whatever sound program it is.
