PSP connection error (80410D09)

when i try to connect to a connection on my psp it gives me an error and doesnt let me connect, (thats the code in the title). From other forums ive been to it says something bout needing a B or G (with mixed settings) router and that if the security settings need to be turned off. I have two questions, how do u make the G router have those "mixed" settings and how do u turn off the security settings so i can at least connect to the internet with my psp.
