Ok i have a psp Version 1.52 right now. Question is should I upgrade to 2.0 on the 27th (it's release on the sony psp site) or should i wait for my .52 to be hacked? Keep in mind that hackers obviously realize that most people have 1.50 and they realize that most people would upgrade to 2.0 so they'll probably focus on that. Should I upgrade or stay where I am people? I really need your opinions on this one! I could be further from Homebrew! I mean I have a system that has no cool things with it at least with a 2.0 i can have SOME FUN

if a 2.0 comes out, i would upgrade, cos for me, retail psp games, web browser, etc are more important than 2d, slow, bugfull, old games

but if they hack 2.0 .............. HURAAH!

well,you don't know when they're gonna hack it,that's what bothers me.i still have 1.0.

i say just as sure as they're going to eventually hack it open,they might as well develop a homebrew browser,better video player and better audio player.

official tools and upgrades are all good and dandy for the masses,but you know full well the potential of the homebrew community,especially given the popularity of the psp.this is not the cozy,small gp32 community,this thing is worldwide,and just you wait until it's released in europe.then a lot more people will be wanting to hack at it.

and summing up the emus as old buggy and 2d is rather silly.neogeo cd is not exactly the nes,is it?and it works full speed.soon they'll use hardware accelerated emus at full speed and we'll have ps1 and n64 too eventually.i'm more than happy playing all the tons snes games i never played.

Same here, we already have most of the stuff that is offered with the 2.0

ok guys thanks for the help but for all of you 1.50 owners I have a 1.52 do you think that I should upgrade? or do you think hackers/crackers/ will crack the 1.51 and 1.52 versions first? thats what im trying to determine thanks!
