Emukidid has released a new version of his Homebrew boot launcher for the GC and Wii:

    - improved gcm selection (shouldnt hang)

    v0.2

    - Improved speed slightly
    - Fixed NTSC/PAL Issues
    - SLOTA/B releases
    - Display game banner

Put .GCM files in a directory called GCGAMES on the root of your SD card.
Boot up the .dol file however you want.
Pop the SD card in slot B
    Select a file and enjoy

    Compatability:

    excellent, fast update

i tried the PAL version, but unfortunately my TV just went black when i tried to run the .dol file (i saw that one comin'). if theres a way a NTSC tv can run the PAL version, i'd like to know lol (maybe i'm just a noob? idk)

so instead i tried the NTSC version. it booted, i used the slot A version...i just tried zelda twilight princess (ntsc) on it. it looked like it was going, it said initializing dvd, then "Loading: G@".....and then it gave me a really colorful screen, and didnt go beyond that. didnt respond to input either.

i will be trying more games soon...maybe one of my ntsc games will play?

sorry to be ''that guy'' but do you need anything other than an SD card to run this?

    What you need:
    • the original game disc (only to get a copy of the game)
    • either the SD Media Launcher (the updated one) or some other way of launching a .dol
    • Gecko SD adapter or the mod for the onboard Wii SD reader
