The PC version of Titanfall will take up 48GB of players’ hard drive space, it has been confirmed.
Vince Zampella of Titanfall developer Respawn Entertainment revealed the size requirement over Twitter to a fan, adding that the download for the game would be roughly 21GB.
The installed size of the game is well over double that of theXbox One version of Titanfall, which Respawn has confirmed to be 20GB.
The large amount of data may be due to the game's 'Insane' texture setting, which requires a graphics card with at least 6GB of video memory (VRAM).
The previous PC minimum requirements for the multiplayer-only online mech-shooter were previously revealed to be a 64-bit version of Windows 7, 8 or 8.1, at least an AMD Athlon X2 2.8GHz or Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz processor, 4GB of RAM and 512MB of VRAM from an AMD Radeon HD 4770 or Nvidia GeForce 8800GT graphics card.
