    Default DJSP v0.1 (Mp3 Player for PSP)

    Cooleyandy has released a new MP3 player for the PSP, heres what he posted:

    I just finished a release version of my mp3 player.
    It's still unfinished, but I think you guys will get a kick outta playing around with it. Here are the features.

    * Plays Mp3s (any length)

    * Press Start to bring up the Mp3 file window

    * 5 different audio visuals
    - 4 frequency spectrum visual + 1 Energy Visual (Press Left or Right Trigger)

    * 4 play modes - normal, sequential, random, repeat (Press Triangle at mp3 window)

    * Instant Audio Modifiers (button equalizer)
    - While in play mode...
    - Press Square to Reduce bass.
    - Press Triangle to Increase bass.
    - Press Circle to increase Treble.
    - Press X to increase volume.

    * Displays play time, and other little bits of stuff.
    * Press Select to quit mp3 player
    This turned my PSP off, please tell me if it does yours ?

    sorry but, whats the point of this aplication, mp3... any psp can play mp3....

    I was thinking the same thing. if it plays the mp3 louder with the eq thing it might be better

    The EQ thing is not working very well with this. I push the buttons to change the tone but, it seems you have to KEEP whatever button held down to affect the sound. Would be nice if it stayed where you wanted your tone preference to be by just tapping the button. Also I think if the fonts were smaller it might look a little better scrolling the title across the top.

    Still, nice idea.

    While its true that any PSP can play a Mp3, the Mp3 player in the PSP is not very good. I think this is a really good start and hopefully we will start seeing more media applications.
