3.80 Popsloader error FFFFFED2

I recently upgraded to CFW 3.80 M33-4 and then downloaded the popsloader plugin from Dark Alex's site. I encoded a couple of PSX games from CDs (Namely Final Fantasy 7 and 9 CD1s) and tried Hot shots golf 2 which I used for the base.pbp. For all three I got the same error code: FFFFFED2

I've tried all of the firmware pops on the menu screen when you boot the game including the one from Flash, as well as changing the firmware kernel within the recovery menu.

I googled the error code. Found two results, one in french which didn't have an answer and one which told the thread-started that the error code didn't exist.

EDIT: And this only seems to happen with popsloader games.

EDIT2: Just realised that this should have probably went in PSP Help. Aw, damn.
