Home/News Any PSP Homebrewers still around?

Hey guys/gals! Long time no see!If you don't remember, i'm Zack. Author of the Wolfenstein PSP port, LuaPlayer Euphoria and Snes9x Euphoria.I haven't touched PSP homebrew in a long time, but found my PSP a few months ago, got the toolchain/dev environment set up again and actually did a little work on Wolf3d Just wondering if anyone here still has any interest in PSP homebrew anymore? If so I would love to do some more work on LuaPlayer Euphoria. Of course, there is little point if there is no one around to use it!In any case, great to see you all and it would be very cool if some more old timers were still around!

Shame. Line breaks seem broken on thread posting. I swear I had that post in paragraphs. Oh well.

Yo Zack, long time no see! You've finally reached 500 posts!

I've barely seen anyone that did PSP homebrew anymore, you're the first in a long time. As for line breaks, well it works for me, it might be your browser - I use Opera 12. Though yes there are quirks with the vBulletin software that I run into at times. I still pick up the PSP (a pick from three I currently have) now and then, gotta love the emulators available on there!

Zack, you were the only other person that realized the value of running Kirby Super Star on PSP.

Even now, I don't think any emulator has ever managed to run it solidly fullspeed with sound on and frameskip0.

Sorry for the late reply. Shame to see the community is barebones :/

When i manage to get some free time again, i'm going to do some more work on LPE, Wolf3D and Snes9X Euphoria again. I miss those days :>

Hey Zack, been trying to contact you. I'm having problems getting Wolf3D to compile relating to how to use the SVGAlib dependency. Could you answer some questions about it? I have the code up on Github. (can't link because forum doesn't let me)

I am hoping to eventually port Super 3D Noah's Ark to the PSP based on your code. Any pointers would be much appreciated!

I have a PSPgo these days...

    It's easier for homebrew gaming.

OR PIRACY, NOW THAT IT'S AN UNSUPPORTED CONSOLE (try finding a UMD for the PSPgo). lol

I still have a few PSP consoles, mainly 1000 and 2000 series. Still use them to run emus, easier to access the quick save states there than those for the PS Vita though been out of the loop for a while.
