yeh basicaly this is just a file to say look what we can do but i put money on a firmware that stops this will probly come out on something like mario kart just have to hope nintendo leaves this open. if it does let us do import games eventualy that would be great games too long to get to the uk.

I'm not sure what Nintendo can and can't do with a firmware update, so does anyone know if they can stop this with one if we already have the save on our consoles? I really don't want this to be patched, and I still want to be able to use stuff like the Wii Shop Channel.

the psp had a similar hack with liberty city stories and another game sony stoped it with a firmware update so asuming this wont be that differant meaning nintendo could just detect how the code is injected then get the wii to ignore or block it.

This is awesome. I'm going to have to try it on my next day outta school. (Hopefully tomorrow with the 6-12 of snow we're getting tonight ) But this is cool. I have the useable disc too. Def not updating anymore.

I've just tried this, and it does work with the US version and console. I can't wait to see where this leads.
