The Assassin's Creed series has sold about 73 million copies, making it Ubisoft's best-selling series by 25 million units.
Ubisoft gave an updated look at its worldwide best-selling franchises on its official web page, providing $#@!ulative sales figures for its 16 top-performing series.
The publisher's official list of best-selling franchises is included at the bottom of this article.
Ubisoft also revealed that it employs more 9,200 people, 7,800 of who are "dedicated to production." That puts it above Activision's "4,000+" figure and Electronic Arts current 9,000 employee headcount.
The firm remains the third-largest independent publisher in both Europe and the US. Ubisoft is expected to reveal much of its plans for the rest of 2014 and beyond at its E3 media briefing on June 9.
