You can also do this with VSHmenu (if you press the 'select button) and it is in 3.71. You can also mount flash0.

    ^ what he said.

you´ve been able to do this ever since device mounting was enabled from the VSHmenu (which i THINK has been there as long as the vshmenu itsself)

on top of that, you said ``from recovery mode`` .........................your method...... is...... not via recovery mode.

but you've only been able to mount disc0:/ to USB since 3.40 OE or 3.51M33, forgot which

    edit: oops...... you're wrong lol

UMD dumping was around WAY before DAX came into the psp scene. Fastloader was the name. even the latest version of it (several years old) which is v0.7c or something like that, was no where near the introduction of UMD dumping. i don't think you'd succeed in finding older versions of fastloader though, if you, for some reason, have any interest in doing so.

my brain is a hardcore database of homebrew / software releases for the psp scene lol

i've checked this site anywhere from 1-15 times a day ever since a few months before my registration date (seen under my screenname on the top left of this or any of my posts.
