Question about DGEN v8.0 deleting save states

I was playing shining force 2 saved my game under a save state and I play it a again the next day and it vanished. I have phantasy star 4 on a save state and no problems. I'm using DGEN so far, I'd like to use PSPGenesis instead but it seems to be unable to play US-NTSC genesis games, if there is a way to switch between PAL and NTSC games please let me know because the only game I was able to play was golden axe 3 and it play very well for an action game. Let me know if anyone is experiencing similar problems with shining force 2 and if there is a way to select regions with PSPGenesis. Thanks a lot everyone.

I can't help you with DGen since i've never used it but to change regions on PSPGenesis press trianlge while on the game select screen. The word beside the arrow should change from auto to Jap,USA,Eur. Hope this helps. Also later when you get save states you could just load up the save and it'll work without you needing to change the region.
