    Default [WIP] LightMP3 Version 2.0.0 ALPHA4

    Hi!

    Here's ALPHA4:
    http://www.sakya.it/downloads/LightMP3_ALPHA4.rar

    Changelog:
    -Playlist limit raised to 3000 tracks
    -Added support for remote control (untested, my remote is broken)
    -Fixed many crashes caused by ID3v2 tag reading (mostly cover art)
    -Added support for png file for ID3v2's coverart
    -In the Media Library you can now enter a selection, play it or add it to the current playlist (please refer to the README for controls)
    -Fixed Shuffle
    -Added Shuffle/Repeat play mode
    -Faster opening of MP3 file.
    Track's duration is now calculated without reading the whole file, but can be less accurate.

    Controls (from README.TXT):
    General:
    L = Previous function
    R = Next function
    L + R = Show help

    File Browser:
    CROSS = Enter directory/play file
    SQUARE = Play directory
    CIRCLE = Go up one level
    START = Add directory/file to current playlist

    Playlist Browser:
    CROSS = Play selected playlist
    SQUARE = Load selected playlist
    CIRCLE = Remove selected playlist

    Playlist Editor:
    CROSS = Move selected track down
    SQUARE = Move selected track up
    CIRCLE = Remove selected track from playlist
    NOTE = Play playlist
    START = Save playlist
    SELECT = Clear playlist

    Media Library:
    CROSS = Enter selection (genre/artist...)
    CIRCLE = Exit selection
    SQUARE = Play selection
    START = Add selection to current playlist

    Please report any bug you find.

    P.S: ALPHA3, if you're wondering, was released only to some testers to solve some issues.

    I'm just learning C!
    I also tried to lower the cpu with the XMB player, but than the gui become very slow (I have a lot of albums in subdirectories and the scrolling was slow)...and I don't like it a lot.

    Btw LightMP3 has something more than the XMB player:
    -Plays OGG Vorbis (the only format I use to rip my cd)
    -Can browse music by artist, album, genre
    -Can make a search in music file
    -Has volume boost (not for all formats, but I'll fix this)
    -Support m3u and has a built in editor

    Don't hate on it until you've tried it. He's an amazing coder even if he is just learning C. Best homebrew since psptube! keep up the good work!
