    Great DC compo :-) cheers

Oh off subject: what does it mean when your dreamcast gets stuck in the boot up screen, or when you power up the screen already had the dreamcast and a little of the blue on screen but frozen?

Seems that some homebrew messes up the DC such as the atari st emulator and gb !

Well, ALL usuage of your Dreamcast will wear out the laser. - My brother bought his DC in 1999 and it never ever ran anything else than original GD-ROMs but still needed to be fixed two years later (after running almost 24/7 during this period ).

    - Considering the sheer power of the hardware, there had to be some cuts to keep costs low, so that's probably why so many DCs stop working at one point. There's nothing that can't be fixed though.

Anyway, let's stay on topic here. If you like, you can start a new thread in Dreamcast Help and I am sure someone might be able to locate the problem you described: http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=26
