The PSP custom firmware 6.60 ME-1.8 and 6.60 LME-1.8 got backported to the firmware 6.20, which makes them compatible with the permanent patch, a method which enables even newer PSP models to run a "permanent CFW".

Every PSP that supports the OFW 6.20 can now run a permanent patched 6.20 LME-1.8, or a cIPL (full) 6.20 ME-1.8 CFW.

The best PSP CFW can now be installed permanently at any PSP (as long as it supports FW 6.20).
