Some help please

OK i downloaded the neocd/sdl file. I have the neo bios file also. I have a neogeo cd rom that i downloaded from romnation. I put it in the cdrom folder in the SRC folder. When I click on the executable file, that little snk with the two faces, a black screen pops up for a second and goes away. I checked my stdout file to see what the deal is and it said

Detecting CD-ROM drives... 1 CD-ROM drives found
Trying D:\
No NeogeoCD Discs available
NEOGEO: System Shutdown.

What am I doing wrong, please help. Thank you.

I am not very good with computers so please forgive my stupidity if its something simple I am missing.
