    Wink PSP Solar Charger

I spotted this news on several sites like Engadget etc and thought the price was too high (at $35) so i went to Success HK and its on sale for USD 24.77

    Product Features

Charge your PSP by solar energy
    Double solar boards for charging
It can charge the PSP/NDS if you have matched cable
    Dimensio: 84 x 82 x 22 (L x W x H)mm
    Inner lithium battery is 1800mAh

    More Description
There is a LED in the left of this charger. When the board is irradiated by the sunlight, the LED will be green. It indicates that the sun energy is turning into electric energy. When you use the PSP AC Adaptor to charge the inner lithium battery, the LED will be red. When the battery is fully charged, the LED will be off.

    Pays to look eh

The sun can cause your screen to break.
    Kinda defeats the idea

I don't know if this is a stupid question or not..

Could you not just put it under a light to charge it?
Or does it have to be sunlight?

    this looks really awsome!
    and only for some $25
it would be pretty useful for me, depending on how its set up.
like if i take this on a camping trip or something, thats supposed to lasta couple days lets say. My batteries would be dead before the first day is done. With this i could leave the psp on the table or something in the sunlight(or somewhere safer still in sunlight, or just playing) while its still in its logitech case(which has a lid of course that covers the screen). that wuold be so awsome if i can keep it charged completely off solar panels on a trip
though im a little confused on how it attaches, as there is only 1 picture, and its of the box. or maybe its just a seperate panel that sits on a table, etc near you connected by wire while u play?

    not a stupid question,
im not sure how sensitive it is, but usually if you put a small solar panel or soemthing directly under a desk lamp lets say, it will generate a small amount of power. but you shouldnt count on it, it works best(or only) in direct sunlight

    sun seriouly demages screens
i've proven it myself after nearly beating botkai (GBA), my screen was with messed up colors for some time(because of botkai), but it just won a 2/2.5cm crack ¬¬
the only good it did was to make me buy a GBASP :P
