Microsoft, Playground Games, and Turn 10 Studios have released a new edition in the “Forza Horizon – Behind the Scenes” video documentary series. In this latest edition of the video series fans have a chance to explore the open world playground of Colorado, which is the backdrop for all of the high intensity automotive action in Forza Horizon.

Forza Horizon’s creators spent months creating the incredible version of Colorado that fans will be able to race, drive, and explore in Forza Horizon. In this video, fans will be able to get an inside look at how the team took the hundreds of hours of video footage and the tens of thousands of photographs gathered during multiple reference trips to Colorado, and translate them into the massive, fun-filled world that makes up Forza Horizon. From the treacherous sun-baked cliffs of Red Rock to the pulsing non-stop party that is the Horizon Festival itself, Forza Horizon’s Colorado is an automotive playground brimming with intense action and surprises around every turn.

The multi-part “Forza Horizon: Behind the Scenes” video documentary series opens the door to the creation of this year’s biggest racing game, Forza Horizon.

Forza Horizon Season Pass Details Released: The “Forza Horizon” Season Pass is your action-packed ticket to automatic access to the “Forza Horizon” Expansion Pack (available Dec. 18, 2012), along with six game car packs, as they’re released through the next year. Each car pack will include six new vehicles and those who purchase the Season Pass will also get access to five exclusive season pass vehicles and the launch day pack.

The “Forza Horizon” Season Pass will be available for purchase starting 26th October, on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace for only 4,000 Microsoft points (£49.99), representing a 17 percent overall savings as compared to purchasing the content separately.

Forza Horizon Music List Unveiled: Forza Horizon is set against the backdrop of a fictional automotive music festival – the Horizon Festival. This robust music list includes over 65 songs spanning more than 60 artists and was curated and created specifically for the game by Rob da Bank, the famed BBC Radio DJ and creator of the Bestival music festival. Players can tune into three distinct radio stations while playing “Forza Horizon,” each with a different style of music and each with its own authentic DJ giving players Horizon Festival updates.

The name and a description of each station can be found below:

· Station 1 / “Horizon Bass Arena” – “A bleeding-edge mix of the latest electronic and dance music, from dubstep to electro to drum & bass. If it’s got bass, you’ll find it here.”
· Station 2 / “Horizon Pulse” – “An eclectic selection of indie festival favourites, remixed to keep you driving”
· Station 3 / “Horizon Rocks” – “If it’s got guitars in it, it’s here. Whether these bands are hitting the festival scene for the first time in 2012 or are legends reforming for one last gig, you’ll find a diverse selection of music on this station, all turned up to eleven.

You can also catch Rob da Bank giving a lowdown on his inspirations behind the choices for the soundtrack.
