Whats the Best Emulator for PS2 ?
Is it for each console or just overall?
or for PS2 emulation on PC?
The newly released version 2 of the PS2 Linux Live DVD contains:
- C64 emulator (vice) and
- DOSbox
The emulators are not speed optimized for PS2, but it is working.

My only regret is PS2 does not have a Neo Geo Arcade emu . Hope it can be done on the Linux Dvd one day
As I am a huge C64 fanatic I have to say that there is no other emulator that comes even close to it's perfection than *drumrolls* CCS64... sometimes when programming assembler for a demo or doing some things.... stuff often fails even though I "KNOW! for sure that there's nothing wrong... so I test it in CCS64.... and I test in on two of my real C64's and it works like a charm.
I simply love the guy who is coding CCS64... in one board he was eager to either realease the sourcecode or port it over to consoles etc by himself.
Next emulator in my oppinion is ePSXe.... a shame it is'nt open source though
Then I definately have to say that UAE and Pcsx2 both has done what we did'nt believe would happen back then.
Well I guess it was'nt the same thing with the PS2 emulator... I kinda felt that it would take a coupe of years before games would even be playable on it.
This is all I can say right now... stay cool Wraggster... I love your work
I agree that PCSX2 is most probably the best PS2 emulator out there.
